Millions of people around the world celebrate wetland biodiversity
The last Sunday of September each year since 2005 has marked World Rivers Day. It was established in response to the United Nations’ ‘Water for Life Decade’ and the founder, Mark Angelo, asks us to ‘celebrate our river heritage’.
From the Yangtze in China and the Nakdong in South Korea, to the Brent and Severn in the UK, we have applied our specialist wetland skills to projects on rivers all over the world, for the benefit of biodiversity and people. We have been looking back at some of our past Habitat design and management projects. Click on the images below to read more.
