Wetland pollution and constructed wetlands to be discussed
From the 13-18th September next week, people will come together in York for the combined 6th International Symposium on Wetland Pollutant Dynamics and Control and the annual conference of the Constructed Wetland Association (CWA).
On Tuesday 15th, Matt will be chairing a session on Environmental Accounting and Ecosystem Services, with four presentations looking at the benefits that multifunctional wetlands provide and James will be co-presenting with Isla Smail from the Coal Authority about a project we worked on: Constructed wetlands for coal mine water treatment.
A range of other talks and poster presentations will cover many topics as well as a chance to network with other wetland treatment system professionals and practitioners.
Further information and details of how to register are available from WETPOL.
