Ian’s thoughts are published in Water & Sewerage Journal
On behalf of the Constructed Wetlands Association (CWA), Ian was asked to commit to paper some thoughts on the future of wetland treatment systems, which have just been published in issue 3/2012 of the Water & Sewerage Journal. Having come a long way from the traditional ‘reedbed’, wetland treatment systems can now employ ‘mechanically simple but biologically complex’ technology to effectively treat a wide range of effluents. And provide a host of additional benefits too.
The article discusses future applications and recognises that wetland treatment systems can compete with traditional wastewater treatment methods in terms of performance and reliability.
