WWT Consulting is working to design and build a new visitor centre extension and interpretation fit out for Severn Valley Country Park
We are delighted to be delivering Severn Valley Country Park extension and interpretation fit out in Shropshire, UK.
Following on from our initial contract to develop an Interpretation Plan for the site, WWT Consulting is now creating interpretation to help our Client, Shropshire Council, communicate the unique qualities of the site and highlight how the landscape has transformed across generations.
Work includes a graphic style report and full concept designs for all exhibitory for the visitor centre, to work alongside the client’s existing brand, plus detailed design, fabrication and installation.
We are managing the exhibit fabricators, architects and construction company. The concept designs focus on the archaeology, geology, natural history and cultural heritage of the landscape. Special emphasis is laid on engaging visitors in enjoyment and immersion in their environment, encouraging greater joy and delight in the natural world.
As recognised by Councillor Lezley Picton (Cabinet member for culture and leisure) “Severn Valley Country Park is well-loved by locals and visitors alike (…). The new Visitor Centre will enable the staff and volunteers to deliver more top quality public events and safeguard the future of this wonderful facility.”
WWT Consulting work nationally and internationally to deliver Visitor Centre Planning and Design projects. For more information on this sector of our work please follow this link.
