WWT Consulting designs and builds new Sustainable Drainage Systems at Redhill School
Last week Dave, James, Robbie and Bea, along with a group of very enthusiastic volunteers from Severn Trent Water, headed to Redhill Primary School in Birmingham to build a brand new raingarden from scratch.
WWT Consulting was approached by Redhill School to design and build the first Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) feature on their grounds. The project will result in the construction of two planters, swale and wildlife pond to retain rainfall and surface runoff.
After three days of breaking concrete, moving soil, digging and planting we were very pleased to see the raingarden become a reality.
