WWT Consulting’s important work in Dubai appears in Waterlife
As you may already have heard, we are working for the Dubai Municipality developing a brand new wetland centre. We are currently working on the detailed designs for habitats, indoor and outdoor interpretation, exhibits and other exciting elements.
Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is the nation’s first Ramsar wetland site and covers 634 hectares in the heart of Dubai. This wildlife sanctuary supports more than 20,000 waterbirds and is a critical stopping-off point for birds using the East African-West Asian flyway.
The latest edition of ‘Waterlife’, the magazine of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, features more information on the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and our work in Dubai. The article can be viewed online here.
