Anna Griffiths and Bena Smith have both joined us as Principal Consultants while Beth Morafon has made the short journey from WWT’s Wetland Experience and Creation (WEC) to join us as a Senior Consultant.
Anna has worked on projects and interpretation for a number of museums and heritage organisations including the Oxfordshire Museums Service, the Natural History Museum at Tring, and the Creswell Heritage Trust. For the past two years she worked at the British Museum on a consultancy project for a client in Abu Dhabi developing a new National Museum in the UAE.
Bena, for the last 12 years, worked for WWF at the Mai Po Nature Reserve in Hong Kong. His work also involved wetland advisory and capacity building at many wetlands in East Asian countries, also wader conservation through the EAAF Partnership. Prior to WWF he worked for the Wildlife Trusts and RSPB on Reserve type projects.
Beth, a long time WWT staff member, latterly as a Senior Project Officer for WEC Interpretation, designed and managed many interpretation exhibits for WWT visitor centres. Projects have included a number of Discovery Hides, Wild Walk at Martin Mere, Secret Swamp and Brent Play Barn at Castle Espie as well as Flamingo Lagoon and Toad Hall play space at Slimbridge.
