WWT Consulting has extensive experience of designing and managing wetland habitats to improve water quality and to store floodwater. We take a catchment approach to water management and reinstate natural functioning wetlands to provide a range of services. Where possible, our designs reconnect rivers to their floodplains to provide opportunities to reduce flood risk and increase wetland habitats.

Our team of hydrologists, soil scientists, ecologists and CAD designers also provide habitat creation advice for managed realignment schemes to ensure that target habitats are achieved and naturally develop with minimal human intervention.

We provide full hydrological monitoring and assessment services and soil and topographic surveys to inform designs and management plans for wetland sites.
