World Wetlands Day marks the signing date of the Convention on Wetlands on 2nd February 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar, and is a day to remember how important wetlands are for wildlife and our welfare. The theme for 2012 is Wetlands and Tourism and will be exploring the benefits wetland tourism bring to people and wildlife.
WWT Consulting recognises the importance of ecotourism and has helped many clients around the world create wetland experiences, ensuring wildlife is not disturbed, whilst maximising opportunities for people to get really close to spectacular wetland landscapes and wildlife.
If you would like to find out more about how WWT Consulting can help you create exciting wetland experiences that integrate wildlife and people sensitively, please see some of our previous case studies here or contact us to speak to an expert.
