We have worked on a couple of projects in Oman since 2009 - one for the Ministry of Tourism and one for Haya Water, the country's largest sewage treatment company. During 2010, the year that marks the 40th anniversary of the reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, Oman has been looking for ways to demonstrate a commitment to responsible development.
The Oman Observer chose to feature our work, which has focussed on advising on sustainable visitor centre developments to both protect the valuable ecological resource of the country and engage national and international visitors in the rich heritage. We were lucky enough that the editors chose to run our story during the week of a visit from HM The Queen to Oman. Hopefully Her Majesty enjoyed reading about us over her morning cup of tea!
