Desert Storm

13 December 2009

It's typical, you travel to Oman hoping to spend a few days doing fieldwork in a slightly warmer climate only to end up witnessing the heaviest rain they have had for a long time.

The flash flooding it produced damaged buildings and roads and washed away a number of cars. A good example of the importance of good stormwater management.

The project is progressing well though. We've had meetings with the client and various stakeholders to ensure that the design of the interpretation for the site meets everyone's requirements, including the birds that rely on the environment.
