Droitwich Canal
2007
WWT Consulting researched and produced the content for the Droitwich Canal Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP). The aim of the plan was to combine national and local biodiversity priorities through consultation with key partners, literature including British Waterway's National BAP and The Droitwich Canal Biodiversity Review (also produced by WWT Consulting), and recent biodiversity information and environmental record data.
Objectives, targets and actions were devised and prescribed to each section of the Droitwich Canal. The data was also incorporated into an 'Access' database so the data could be incorporated into a Geographical Information System (GIS) database enabling greater flexibility for data interrogation and updating.
